Sabrina Carpenter – Reimagined Show Credits [Spec]
Summary
Inspired by Sabrina Carpenter’s “Don’t Smile” live performance, this spec project reimagines the playful, 80s TV show-style credits used during her show.
As a personal creative challenge, I rebuilt her stage in Blender from scratch, learning the software along the way to take full creative control over the environment and execution.
Building on the foundation established by Sabrina Carpenter’s creative director, Dannah Gottlieb, I expanded on existing ideas while leading the creative direction for new spatial, lighting, and motion concepts, ensuring the experience felt immersive and dynamic.
The visuals, created in After Effects, blend retro-inspired typography, dynamic transitions, and vintage clips of Sabrina, adding a fresh perspective while staying true to the song’s confident energy. Every creative decision was made with intention, reinforcing the bold, charismatic presence that defines her performance.
This project highlights my ability to own the creative vision from concept to execution, combining storytelling, technical exploration, and problem-solving to bring ideas to life.
